Causewayhead sits in the shadow of the world-famous Wallace Monument - the monument itself commemorates Sir William Wallace and celebrates his triumph at the Battle of Stirling Bridge. The monument is ever popular with tourists and provides stunning panoramic views as far as Loch Lomond, The Pentland Hills, Fife, and The Firth of Forth.

The schools which serve this area of the city are Wallace High School and Cornton Primary School. Wallace High School in particular is progressing very well, achieving their highest ever results for both Highers and National 5s for the past two consecutive years. Stirling University is also within easy reach and can be reached on foot in approximately 20 minutes and under 10 minutes by road. The university offers a variety of undergraduate and post graduate courses ranging from primary teaching to nursing.
